A limited number of V Festival 2011 tickets are set to go on sale on September 11th at 9am (BST).

The event takes place on sites at Staffordshire and Chelmsford on August 20-21 next summer, with the first batch of ‘early bird’ tickets on sale tomorrow – two days after this year’s event was wrapped up.

United Tickets Still Selling Out

English Premier League club Manchester United has failed to hit its sales target of 54,000 season tickets for the current season, but has still sold out of Manchester United Hospitality Tickets for the two games it has hosted so far this season.

According to news agency Bloomberg, United chief executive officer David Gill blamed the struggling British economy for the result, but was not taken aback.

“We’ve sold 51,800, which is pretty good in the current climate,” he said, highlighting the need to work hard to fill Old Trafford stadium’s 76,000 seats for every game.
